Exerstriders are Changing People's Lives!
14 Feb 2007
Martyis a 70-something lady from the Chicago area. She had been walking and was enjoying it, but she said she wanted to try Exerstriding to see if it would speed her along in her effort to lose weight. Marty was a size 14, but since she began Exerstriding the pounds (35 pounds in the first 16 weeks) and inches have come off faster and now she's a size 8! She says the second best thing about Exerstriding is that it gives so many men a good excuse to talk with her when she walks at the nearby mall.
Donnalearned about Exerstriding through her sister. Donna had joined a local TOPS (take off pounds sensibly) group but was not having much success with her weight loss efforts. Seven weeks after she started Exerstriding she called to thank me for my invention. She excitedly told me that since beginning to Exerstride, she had lost a total of 23 1/2 inches! Several other members of her TOPS group are now Exerstriding.
Two months after purchasing a pair of Exerstrider poles, Deborah wrote to say"Four years ago I hurt my back and have been looking for some kind of aerobic exercise that would not bother my back. I own some rather expensive equipment: a NordicTrack, a LifeCycle, and a HealthRider. Each one of these pieces of equipment only served to severely aggravate my back, eventually causing me to have to give up exercise...I must admit to being rather cynical that something so funny looking could help me get back in shape...I figured I might as well try them, spurred on by your money back guarantee.
When I first got my Exerstriders, I decided to be prudent in their use. However, I found that this did not seem to be necessary as my back was completely silent....I am now up to an hour workout, four times a week. I cannot say enough about my Exerstriders. I have spent thousands of dollars on exercise equipment and none has done for me what these simple looking walking sticks have done.
Not only is this a great form of aerobic exercise, but it is a complete full body exercise. Never before have I had such great biceps! They have changed my life and given me hope that I can once again be a normally active person. Isn't it interesting that such a simple product can be so absolutely life changing? Thank you again and please keep up the good work...P.S. While some people do stare at me and my Exerstriders, most can't help but make some kind of positive comment so my sticks have turned out to be a wonderful conversation starter."
Bobis a 59 year old man from New Jersey who started walking a year before he learned about Exerstriding. Standing 5'-8" tall, he had started out at 250 pounds and had managed to walk off nearly 50 pounds. He had reached a "plateau" and was finding it difficult to lose additional weight. He hoped Exerstriding would help and it did! Bob lost an an additional 50 pounds in the six months after he began to Exerstride.
Karenpurchased her Exerstriders in April of 1995. In December of 1995, her friend Molly called to order a pair. She told me that Karen had lost 43 pounds! She said she wanted to give Exerstriding a try and see if she could lose some weight too.50 pounds in the six months after he began to Exerstride.
Reneehas a medical problem which affected her balance and made it difficult for her to walk more than a few blocks. Exerstriding now allows her to do 3 miles several times per week. Renee can't stop telling others about Exerstriding and so far eight of Renee's friends have also purchased Exerstriders and and are enjoying the benefits too!
Danpurchased a pair last fall. He wrote to me a short time later to say, "I was surprised how quickly my upper-body muscle tone improved. I'm encouraging friends to give Exerstriders a try."
Edlearned about Exerstriding through The Walking Magazine. He wrote to say, "I have built up my arms and upper body while undoubtedly increasing the calories expenditure...Almost more important, I have found the Exerstriders have vastly increased my motivation to get out and walk. Somehow they banish the boredom which can otherwise accompany walking the same daily route."
Judyis a 30-something woman from southern California. Judy is a former runner who served in Operation Desert Storm. Following a bout with hepatitis she experienced some deterioration in her hip joint. Her doctor advised her to give up on running and try walking instead. Before she began Exerstriding, she was walking daily with some pain even with the aid of Advil. The first time she Exerstrided, she experienced no hip pain whatsoever. That was over two years ago. Judy tells me that she hasn't taken Advil since, and that she has been Exerstriding regularly for as many as fifteen miles, without without any hip pain!
